How the swap works

I want to swap this blanket for something worth a bit more and keep swapping until the end of December 2012.  The idea is to keep increasing the value of each swap until I have something of good value to sell to boost my fundraising for Hope and Homes for Children.  I 'pinched' this idea from Kyle MacDonald who swapped a paperclip for a house and Graham who has started with a pink hairclip!

Swap story so far:

Started with a buggy blanket
Swap 1 - digital camera
Swap 2 - electric guitar
Swap 3 - Tea with Lord Paddy Ashdown
Swap 4 - could this be yours....?

Of course it doesn't need to be a physical item, it could be tickets for a sports event or an "experience" of some sort.  I will choose the swap that will give me the best chance to get a good "next swap".  Of course I will acknowledge all offers and keep you up to date on the blogspot.

The best opportunity for me to get great swaps is to spread the word far and wide - so please pass on the details of the swap to all of your family, friends and colleagues (and please ask them to do the same!)
I kind of hope that this swap might just land on the desk of a friendly corporate director who wants to get involved with a great offer for a fantastic cause!

If you have something that you would like to offer for swap, please drop me an email at buggyblanketswap@gmail.com and I will get get back to you.

You never know, we might just get a nice wee car to auction!!!  Just think how many children may grow up within the love of a family with ALL of our help!

Thank you!
Geraldine
